The Destillery Plant

With one of the world best distillery plants from Ulrich Kothe we brew specialities according to old recipes. These have already won various medals. 

Only best beer is used for brandies, it is decarbonated and distilled during a 2-hour distilling process.

Fore-run and backflow are excluded, only the middle brandy is used for the beer brandy production.

From 50 litres beer we gain approx. 2 litres high percentage alcohol, with the addition of specially treated water the drink-ready brandy is reduced to approx. 40 %.

Completing a long storage time follows during which the brandy loses its strongness, gains a pleasant round departure and becomes a first-class product, which has already won numerous medals.
