The
Salm Bräu is a historical place. During the last decades these premises owned by the
convent decayed until the founder of the company, Walter Welledits discovered this object
in 1993 and revitalised it under costly restoration works and added a brewery.
The George Room
Once
it hosted the imperial coach horses of empress Wilhelmine Amalie. After the death of her
husband the empress spent her remaining years in the Salesianer convent which she also
founded.

The Cellar Vault
More
than 150 years older than George Room, this cellar once was the wine cellar of the mayor
of Vienna at this time, Jakob Daniel Tepser (27.01.1653 20.09.1711). At this time
neither the convent nor the castle Belvedere existed.
